Screenshot of lost menu items in GNOME Shell's calendar tool

gnome-shell-3.8.1-2.fc19.x86_64

When there are lots of calendar appointments in the shell's calendar/clock tool, some of the menu items in the left pane of the tool's popup are lost. Refer to the screeshot for a real world example on a 1366x768 laptop screen. Perhaps the layout could be altered to allow these to appear below the calendar selection tool in the popup regardless of the length of the right side?
