Description Pooja Saxena 2013-04-29 10:15:28 UTC
Cantarell Regular and Bold are missing the following basic mathematical symbols:

U+2202 ∂ PARTIAL DIFFERENTIAL
U+2206 Δ INCREMENT
U+220F ∏ N-ARY PRODUCT
U+2211 ∑ N-ARY SUMMATION
U+221A √ SQUARE ROOT
U+221E ∞ INFINITY
U+222B ∫ INTEGRAL
U+2248 ≈ ALMOST EQUAL TO
U+2260 ≠ NOT EQUAL TO
U+2264 ≤ LESS-THAN OR EQUAL TO
U+2265 ≥ GREATER-THAN OR EQUAL TO

The lack of these symbols in the typeface reduces its usefulness as a document font, especially if the content is mathematical in nature.

I would like to add also to the list:

U+2261 ≡ IDENTICAL TO
U+2262 ≢ NOT IDENTICAL TO

Pooja's suggestions are in master now, copy-pasta from Cambay. Please test.
Comment 3 Nikolaus Waxweiler 2017-08-13 17:01:22 UTC
U+2261 and U+2262 will be in the redesign.
