Description simon80 2013-04-25 03:04:02 UTC
My wireless router occasionally stops working properly, and 802.11 clients fail to connect. Yesterday, this happened while wireless was enabled in nm-applet. When I came back to my system today, I found dozens of windows open, each asking me for the wireless password. After closing the windows, I noticed that nm-applet was still consuming over 500MB of RAM.

I would expect that nm-applet should avoid opening more than one of those windows (especially for the same network), and following that code path repeatedly shouldn't result in increasing memory usage over time.

Unfortunately, I didn't think to take a core dump while restarting it, but I did take a screenshot to provide a bit of independent confirmation.
