Description Tushar Kant 2013-04-24 21:08:36 UTC
In previous versions of gnome totem would retain the size that was set. From 3.8 onward it resizes every time the video changes.

Did you enable "resize the window when a new video is loaded" in the preferences?
Comment 2 Tushar Kant 2013-04-25 12:42:54 UTC
There is no "Preferences" under Edit menu at all. I'm running gnome 3.8.1 under arch linux.

In the top panel, next to activities.
Comment 4 Tushar Kant 2013-04-25 14:31:41 UTC
Oh I see now...but it was unchecked from before. That's not the problem actually. The window resizes to the same size despite of the size of the video. Even if the next item in the playlist is a 720p video totem still becomes smaller.

PS: I really appreciate the fact gnome folks are so focused on fixing bugs. Keep up the good work!!

It's a known bug in GTK+ I'm afraid.
