David, can you test if you can still reproduce this crash with GnuCash 2.5.1 ?
Comment 4 David Carlson 2013-05-18 19:52:54 UTC
It appears that this now works correctly in GnuCash Release 2.5.1 in Windows 7. However, memory usage is far higher than with 4.13. For the same data file GnuCash release 2.4.13 uses 422 meg of Ram while 2.5.1 uses 602 meg of Ram. That is with an assets over time report open.

I think Firefox and Thunderbird have been creeping up too, with the new Firefox 21 currently using 1.7 Gig of Ram and Thunderbird is using 485 Meg. As I mentioned somewhere, I have 6 Gig of Ram on this machine and at this moment it is 80% committed. That was a lot of Ram not too long ago.

Thank you for your feedback.

The memory consumption is a separate issue. IMO we'll need some profiling before we release 2.6.
