"Quit" from GIMP icon in Mac OSX Dock does not work.

To reproduce the problem:
1) Reveal the Dock
2) Mouse over the GIMP icon
3) Right click (or click and hold using trackpad) and select "Quit" .  GIMP does NOT quit.

Workaround:
From the GIMP menu, select "GIMP" --> "Quit GIMP"
