Description Gilberto Reis Filho 2013-04-15 15:45:21 UTC
The system hangs when trying to import the attached OFX file. 2.4.11 imports it ok.

Workaround: Edit the ofx file with a text editor and insert at least one line break.

The bug is known and will be fixed very soon.

Thanks. I do not understand. There seems to be several line breaks in the file I attached, but Gnucash keeps hanging.
Could you be more specific as to where put the line break and what do you mean by that?

Another proposal: Please install the latest nightly build from http://code.gnucash.org/builds/win32/trunk/ (in a folder separated from your existing 2.4.12 install), then open your data file with that 2.5.0 version and run the OFX import. Does the import work correctly here?

The data file is compatible enough between 2.4.12 and 2.5.0 so that you can use the 2.5.0 version for the OFX import but continue your daily work with the 2.4.12 version. Just make sure to not run two opened instances of gnucash in parallel.

Ok. Thanks. I'll try that.

Reassign version to 2.4.x so that individual 2.4 versions can be retired.
