GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 697873
Crash when remounting ftp: location
Last modified: 2013-09-30 15:07:38 UTC
I found this while investigating bug 697776. Steps to reproduce: Launch nautilus. Click on the bookmark of an ftp:// location. Open a subfolder. Click on the Unmount icon in the sidebar. Notice that the contents of the visited subfolder are still in the view and the Path Bar is gone. Click on the bookmark again. Nautilus crashes.

The bookmark is not required to reproduce. I get the same result using the Connect to Server dialog instead. Opening a subfolder before unmounting IS required to reproduce. It doesn't matter if the credentials are remembered or not.
(In reply to comment #1) > Opening a subfolder before unmounting IS required to reproduce. This is no longer true. Restested with 3.8.2. Marking as duplicate of newer bug with a better description and stacktrace. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 708282 ***
