Description Michael Monreal 2013-03-29 10:34:01 UTC
I installed a Fedora 19 alpha image inside boxes in order to test GNOME 3.8, however I was unable to test one of the main features, namely the way the notification bar opens, because moving the mouse to the bottom edge does not trigger the notification bar at all. The same is true when moving the mouse to the top left corner: instead of showing the shell overview, the window bar of boxes is shown. Please, allow using the hot corners/edges in VMs.

Hi,

I can confirm this with both virtualbox and vmware workstation.

It does work when setting the pointer type to absolute in VM configuration. However, setting the pointer to absolute prevent auto-grab and such by the vm manager, so it's not really a solution.

Cheers,

Hi,

Also, I reproduced it with a current Debian Sid.

May it be an xorg issue ?

Cheers,
