bug 610021 is maybe the oldest banshee bug ever. Does anyone know if something is going on in this direction? Thanks.

Okay, the bookmark feature of banshee solves this issue/bug.

My suggestion: please implement a better bookmark handling!

With the current implementation one has to always deal with the toolbar. This is annoying.

A possible better implementation could be to add a "Bookmarks" entry in the main banshee navigation list. A click on this "Bookmarks" entry opens a simple bookmark manager that allows one to jump to a particular bookmark or to remove outdated ones.
