Please try the latest (1.4.x) version of gnome-core and gnome-libs
from http://download.gnome.org/ Contact me if you need RPMS.

Could you send me the RPMS...  I am not exactly sure what version I 
should install to my Redhat 7.2 installation and I can't afford to 
mess it up too much.
