Description Petr Schindler 2013-03-22 11:44:46 UTC
In activities. I click and drag miniature application from desktops overview (on the right side of overview) and this application doesn't appear under cursor, but is moved left. It is confusing, because it is not sure where it will go when I release the mouse button

system: Fedora 19
gnome-shell-3.7.92-2

I can reproduce this; it also flies in from outer space, so to speak :)

I can't seem to work fine here.
Comment 3 Cosimo Cecchi 2013-03-23 13:26:02 UTC
It's only reproducible with non-maximized windows as far as I can see.
Comment 4 GNOME Infrastructure Team 2021-07-05 14:34:10 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
