If you configure you file associations in the Open With dialog, there are displayed different application names than there are displayed in the file context menu. See attached screenshot.

association name -> context menu name
=====================================
Shotwell Viewer  ->  Shotwell Photo Viewer
Shotwell         ->  Shotwell Photo Manager   (very confusing)
Web              ->  Epiphany Web Browser

Why? Sometimes this is not intuitive at all.
