Description Andrew 2013-03-12 00:19:13 UTC
Currently, there is no known way through the Background setting to adjust how the selected image is displayed on the desktop in terms of it if it's stretched / scaled, tiled, centered, fills, zoomed, etc.

Quite frankly, I'm not even sure what the default currently is either. Anyways, I'd rather not have to use external applications to adjust something that can be and should be done directly through GNOME's Control Panel given that GNOME 3's goal is ease of use because otherwise it'd defeat the point of that segment even being there in the first place.

Powers that be in the world of GNOME, please grant my request.

Package Version:

control-center 3.6.3-1.fc18 x86_64

Additional Information:

Using Fedora 18 (Spherical Cow) 64-bit
