Description Dominique Leuenberger 2013-03-10 20:38:40 UTC
Testing with evolution 3.7.91 and evolution-rss 0.3.93, I get this error when loading:

> evolution

(evolution:14141): libebackend-WARNING **: module_load: /usr/lib64/evolution/3.8/modules/evolution-module-rss.so: undefined symbol: soup_cookie_jar_sqlite_new
Failed to load module: /usr/lib64/evolution/3.8/modules/evolution-module-rss.so

(evolution:14141): evolution-plugin-lib-WARNING **: Cannot resolve symbol 'org_gnome_cooly_rss_startup' in plugin '/usr/lib64/evolution/3.8/plugins/liborg-gnome-evolution-rss.so' (not exported?)

=> ldd /usr/lib64/evolution/3.8/modules/evolution-module-rss.so shows no sign of libsoup being linked.

I gave that one a retry together with Evo 3.11.2;

to my largest surprise, this patch is still required; without it, I still see the same build failure....
