Description William Jon McCann 2013-03-03 22:01:28 UTC
I think it would be better to use a simple noise texture for the background. The old baize look is getting a bit dated.

Looks alright to me....

How did you create this file? Manually in gimp? Or some way else?
Comment 4 Christian Persch 2013-03-03 22:57:27 UTC
Unfortunately that doesn't give a source either, which is required for GPL compliance.
Comment 5 William Jon McCann 2013-03-03 23:05:13 UTC
What does that mean?
Comment 6 Christian Persch 2013-03-04 00:07:50 UTC
We can use ImageMagick to create a random noise image; I'll try to do that tomorrow and document the steps.
Comment 7 Christian Persch 2013-03-04 21:00:49 UTC
andreasn kindly provided a XCF under GPL3+; added as source to git and export to PNG for use as baize. It's quite hard to actually see the noise (I guess that's the point :-) ) so I hope it's ok.
