tried 3.6.3 and 3.7.90
did a tcpdump and looking for traffic to the exchange server. 

When trying to use ews (setup) no network connection attempts are made.
tried with imap and was able to see the network connections ...


Last version which worked for me was a git version with latest commit :

just tried with dbus-monitor. Actually evolution is trying to request some auth information from dbus, but i can't find any dialog in which to enter my password

Thanks for a bug report. I suppose you face bug #680961. I'm marking this as a duplicate of it, reopening it, and providing a bit of questions for testing there.
