The color picker of the color dialog is not working. Always black is returned.
This was the case on version 2.8.2 too.

The color picker in the color dialog is weird, use the Color Picker Tool [Shift-O] instead.

Is this the same bug as bug #576124? If yes, please mark it so.

Clayton, can you test the patch on bug #576124 in your Mac build, please? If it works, we can hit these two birds with one stone ;-)
