Quite often the message tray disappears and doesn't come back until I reboot.
when this happens I hear notification sounds but the usual message that pops up at the bottom of the screen don't show up anymore, if I press super+m nothing happens and when I am in the overview the message tray is not there.

Using up to date ubuntu 13.04 gnome remix
