I updated gnome-shell to 3.6.3 on Arch yesterday, since then message tray is often blocked by an empty/partly-showing notification.
See attached screenshot, I think it should be a new partition mounted notification but I also got it with another notification (no idea which).

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.

(3.6.3 failed to cherry-pick a fix that exists in master)

Yes, see https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=683986#c44; there'll be 3.6.3.1 release eventually, but for now packagers should include the appropriate patch from the gnome-3-6 branch.
