Description Andreas Nilsson 2013-02-13 02:26:06 UTC
The current experience of installing a codec feels somewhat flimsy. The dialog pops up lots of different icons, one for each part of the process, and I get a really unstable feeling from this.
Comment 1 Andreas Nilsson 2013-02-13 02:27:32 UTC
I would suggest using the regular system-software-install icon through the entire process.
Comment 2 Andreas Nilsson 2013-02-13 02:29:36 UTC
This would also benefit the High contrast mode, since we dont have icons for all the current modes, only system-software-install (soon)
Comment 3 Richard Hughes 2014-08-06 15:11:51 UTC
I think kalev has plans for gnome-software.
