GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 693226
There is no visual shortcut (button) for open a new tab.
Last modified: 2013-02-06 00:13:25 UTC
Created attachment 235252 [details] Suggestion for the "new tab" button. I know that the Web interface will be revamped soon (and I'm extremely excited about the chance to kill tabs - o/). However, it seems that this change will not come in this cycle (3.7/3.8). Then, taking into account the current interface, since it was implemented Web does not have a dedicated button to open a new tab. I understand that this is possible via the shortcut "control + t", but do not think it is user friendly. I also understand that this is possible through the gear menu "new tab", but I do not consider it practical (and comfortable) due to the amount of times that this action is performed. So, I suggest that this button is implemented in this cycle (3.7/3.8), before the "Freeze" happens. I did some mockups, as a suggestion. It is attached.
Sorry guys, this is duplicate (yes, I also can not believe I did not notice it before opening this). What should I do now? I hope the mockups help. And sorry again :)
Feel free to close this as a dup and upload your mockups in the other bug. Thanks for effort!
I will do. Thanks, Xan!
