GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 693135
Sliding the lock curtain up is reversed when using natural scrolling
Last modified: 2013-02-09 00:33:33 UTC
OVERVIEW Moving the lock screen curtain up using the touchpad has to be done with a downward two-finger swipe/drag if the touchpad option "Content sticks to fingers" (System Settings/Mouse & Touchpad/Touchpad) is enabled. HOW TO REPRODUCE 1) Enable "Content sticks to fingers" (System Settings/Mouse & Touchpad/Touchpad). 2) (Make sure it is actually enabled by viewing a long page using the web browser, de- and reactivating the touchpad applies the touchpad settings for me) 3) Lock using the upper right menu. (Or wait for GNOME to lock itself) Result: Now the curtain has to be moved upwards by dragging downwards. This is not natural. Expected result: Scrolling/swiping/dragging upwards moves the curtain upwards. PLATFORM/BUILD Arch Linux, fully updated as of Monday 4 February 2013 12:30 with core GNOME 3.6.2 (no gnome-extra). (Personally I do not think more than the GNOME version really matters.)
Around 3.7.2/3.7.3 we rewrote the overview scrolling code, so it is very likely this bug is already fixed. Indeed, it feels correct to me, but as it is a bit difficult to quantify, could you please test on master? You can grab the latest development version of GNOME using jhbuild or gnome-ostree. Thanks in advance!
Bah, sorry, wrong bug...
