Description Kev Ramsay 2013-01-28 20:56:31 UTC
device - sony xperia u

Under android gingerbread this device worked as if it was recognised under USB mass storage
since upgrading to android ice cream sandwich this is no longer the case. The device appears to be MTP only and Banshee doesn't recognise the device, even though the MTP support extension is enabled.

I am left with using either qlix or gMTP. These work perfectly fine with the Sony Xperia U for transferring music / video / photo and it would be great if that functionality were present in banshee

Banshee is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes more than three years ago. Its codebase has been archived.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project
to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is being shut down) if anyone takes the
responsibility for active development again.
