Description Michael Monreal 2013-01-26 22:29:17 UTC
I have created various KVM VMs with virt-manager so this is what I currently use. It would be nice if these VMs would also show up in the VM list of Boxes.

Its not about who created the VM but where. virt-manager be default uses the system (shared with all users) libvirt instance while Boxes uses the session (private to each user) VMs. We have had it in our plans to either connect to system libvirtd by default or provide easy way to connect to it but its not as easy as it seems.

For now, you can simply add system libvirt source using "qemu+unix:///system" in the wizard's URL entry.
