Description javiermon 2013-01-26 17:22:23 UTC
Hi

I would love to be able to read .chm documents in gnome-documents.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Compiled_HTML_Help

This are HTML documents, so maybe this could be loaded with webkit?

Thanks,

We need Tracker support for this first, see bug 489662.
Comment 2 Bastien Nocera 2013-07-16 15:47:21 UTC
eBook support should be part of a separate app (that would hopefully reuse much
of gnome-documents).

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 704316 ***

Reopening, as CHM support is unlikely to come in the first wave of gnome-books support.

Reassigning to new default assignee.

GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-documents/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
