When I go from the overview to a VM without the ability to fit an arbitrary resolution, it 'bounces'.  That is to say, the thumbnail zooms to the full screen, then snaps back to the best size that the vm can handle.  Would be good to figure out the right size prior to doing the zoom effect.

We just removed the thumbnail animations so this is not valid anymore, along with other weird issues we keep getting with different version of clutter-gtk/clutter.
