Description Matthias Clasen 2002-01-21 08:10:33 UTC
The documentation for gtk_item_factory_add_foreign() should recommend
the use of gtk_menu_item_set_accel_path()/gtk_widget_set_accel_path()
once the latter is exported, and possibly gtk_item_factory_add_foreign()
should be deprecated.
Comment 1 Matthias Clasen 2002-03-11 16:05:15 UTC
gtk_menu_item_set_accel_path()/gtk_widget_set_accel_path()
are public now, so gtk_item_factory_add_foreign() docs should
recommend them.
Comment 2 Matthias Clasen 2002-03-11 22:07:25 UTC
Done now. Leaving this open as a reminder to deprecate
gtk_item_factory_add_foreign() at the next occasion.
Comment 3 Owen Taylor 2002-03-20 20:45:02 UTC
Moving docs bugs from 2.0.1 => 2.0.2
Comment 4 Matthias Clasen 2002-04-05 13:33:07 UTC
Move open bugs from milestones 2.0.[012] -- > 2.0.3, since 2.0.2 is already out.
Comment 5 Matthias Clasen 2002-04-22 09:08:05 UTC
Owen, can you enlighten me when deprecations will next be allowed ?
2.2, 2.4, 3.0 ?
Comment 6 Owen Taylor 2002-04-22 19:21:10 UTC
I think it probably makes the most sense to add more
deprecations in 2.4. In theory, they should be OK for 2.2,
but since I think the 2.2 rollout is going to be a bit
messy, they could cause some problems for people compiling
with G_DISABLE_DEPRECATIONS.
Comment 7 Matthias Clasen 2002-04-23 11:08:15 UTC
Should we have a target milestone for 2.4, or do you consider
anything beyond 2.2 to
be "future" ?
Comment 8 Owen Taylor 2002-04-23 16:59:11 UTC
Well, now that we have some roadmap for 2.x, it probably makes
sense to add a 2.4 milestone for thing we know are 2.4.
