Banshee application crashes on Fedora 18 x64 upon startup. Attached is the stacktrace output after running it in verbose mode

Steps to Reproduce:
1.) Start Banshee

If upstream does not figure out a way to fix this in a timely manner (and the discussion at https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=683830 seems to indicate the likelihood of an upstream fix is slim), will banshee just be unusable for the indefinite future?
