Description Jonathan Briggs 2013-01-21 19:16:57 UTC
Rhythmbox allows me to start playing a podcast while it is still downloading. This is a good thing.

It is not a good thing that the playback stops in the middle. It seems to stop where the file ended at the point playback started. So, if I start playback at 25% downloaded I can listen to 25% of it. Then it stops and I need to resume playback by seeking back and forth until I find the last played position.

This may actually be a GStreamer bug, or a bug in the MP3 component I am using. It is difficult to determine.

Is this a reappearance of https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=341078 ? That is the same bug, but it was fixed. Maybe it came back.
