In "Sharing", the "Remote Login" switch should enable 'sshd.socket' on systems where this unit exists (e.g. Arch Linux), instead of 'sshd.service' everywhere.

There is no need to run a permanent SSH daemon on desktops which receive connections infrequently.

It's possible to override which systemd service will be used with the changes from bug 751326.
