I think it's a very nice improvement!

It's certainly better than the current one. Good job.

Anything above 16x16 deserves to get more depth by having a shadow though. Also I think seeing a bit of the side of the sight would help. Opens up room for nice metallic shading and the fake stroke I brought up so many times and you avoid viciously :)

You won't need the 64x64 size.
