GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 692094
No network-calendar entries possible when no network connection
Last modified: 2013-09-05 09:41:39 UTC
When offline (without internet connection) it is not possible to create calendar entries for an online calendar such as google calendar. An error message is shown instead. When on route with the laptop it is not always possible to be online. Nevertheless the preferred calendar shall be usable, that is, one shall be reminded (already implemented) but also be able to creste new calendar entries, Expected result: the entry shall be created locally in the network calendar. When online next time the calendar shall synchronize itself automatically propagating the newly created entries (among other tasks). This is the current behaviour of android Calendar as well. I reported this as an enhancement, nevertheless I personally think it is rather a bug...
