Today I have created the release tarball 3.7.4 for gnome-system-monitor, have copied it to master.gnome.org, and ran ftpadmin install on it.
The NEWS file commit contains 41 lines [1], but the published .news entry only contains the first 4 lines out of the 41.

Based on the log, the diff has only found 4 lines:

Preparing installation of gnome-system-monitor-3.7.4.tar.xz:
 - Checking consistency: ......, done
 - Checking previous tarball: ....., done
 - NEWS, done (diff, 4 lines)
 - ChangeLog, done (diff, 168 lines)
 - Copying tar.xz, done
 - Creating sha256sum, done

     Version: 3.7.4   (previous version: 3.6.1)
 Destination: /ftp/pub/GNOME/sources/gnome-system-monitor/3.7/

ftp.gnome.org synced from master.gnome.org. You can try to do the release again. If it'll work fine, please close the following bug.

Release done again, everything is ok now, marking as fixed.
