Description Robert Munteanu 2013-01-14 16:31:15 UTC
Running gnome-shell 3.6.2 on OpenSUSE 12.2 x86_64.

After setting an avatar and/or name for my user using System Settings -> User accounts( username similar to NET\rmuntean ) the name is not displayed in the shell area in the top-right ; clicking to open the user menu displays an empty (black) image frame and the username. The same happens with the login screen.

It's worth mentioning that in the User accounts dialog the avatar is shown, but not the name.

Just noticed that the icon is displayed properly in the login screen when using fallback mode.
