In the example attached chart, I used centered label but you can see that they are not really centered.

Might be a pixelization issue. Can you provide an svg output or the gnumeric file? I'd like to see if the issue persists on zooming.

OK, the svg file shows the same issue. I'm unable to reproduce anyway. Can you provide a sample file?

Loading that file shows nicely centered labels.

But now try this:

1. Properties->Data labels1->Details.
2. Add custom labels, remove Y. Apply.

(not quite centered anymore)

3. Properties->Data labels1->Details.
4. Add Y, remove custom labels. Apply.

(still not centered, even if we should be back where we started.)

Hi Jean,
Thanks for the fix.
However, after recompiling git goffice and gnumeric, the problem still happens.
I have attached the example .gnumeric file if that can help.
Comment 9 Jean Bréfort 2013-01-15 13:44:19 UTC
You need to force the update of the format string: add any field, remove it, and apply. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Comment 10 Frédéric Parrenin 2013-01-15 15:18:28 UTC
OK, no problem, thanks.
