Description Jean-François Fortin Tam 2013-01-13 17:50:19 UTC
Somewhere in GStreamer 1.x, audio playback in mpeg4 files broke and the result is now a high pitch garble. Tested with gstreamer 1.x master of everything.
Comment 1 Jean-François Fortin Tam 2013-01-13 17:50:56 UTC
Sample file: http://jeff.ecchi.ca/public/gstreamer-691665.mp4
Comment 2 Tim-Philipp Müller 2013-01-13 18:03:02 UTC
Indeed. This seems to be a regression in the unreleased 1.1.x branch in git master caused by the port to the new audio base classes. It does not happen with the released 1.0.x versions.

Marking as blocker. Thanks for the bug report and the sample file.
