GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 691541
Fullscreen icon is huge
Last modified: 2013-01-11 12:45:44 UTC
Created attachment 233216 [details] totem Hi, I know most symbolic icons use the entire 16x16 space, but some icons don't and using them with the ones that do makes the whole thing look inconsistent. I think the fullscreen icon is just too big. :)
Oh and we do provide a smaller one in the GNOME Firefox theme if you agree but don't have time for it. :) https://github.com/gnome-integration-team/firefox-gnome/blob/master/theme/chrome/browser/symbolic-icons/fullscreen.svg
I think the core of the issue is using symbolic icons on a flat surface like this. We should either use fullcolor icons directly on a toolbar, or use buttonized symbolic icons. In this case grouped playback/seek buttons and a separate fullscreen button.
In any case I've updated the fullscreen icon to have some padding. Marking fixed with 0a94d02fabd929e83532c15e9c8dd730efde9472
Or just simply due to Totem's interface being broken. :P Thanks for the fix. :)
