Description Alexander Larsson 2013-01-10 20:07:18 UTC
It would be nice if we recorded in the vm metadata for each box what drivers we installed and what version during the express install. Then we could offer to update the driver if libosinfo contains a newer version of the driver than what is installed in the VM.

And how do we install drivers from outside the guest after installation?

Obviously that has to be determined, but i was hoping that could be done by booting with some kind of driver disk and somehow triggering windows to look for hw driver updates on it. or using auto-launch or something.

Not going to happen unless someone contributes patches for this.
