Description Bastien Nocera 2013-01-09 09:54:05 UTC
Based on http://www.apple.com/osx/what-is/gestures.html
and http://winsupersite.com/windows-8/windows-8-tip-use-trackpad-multi-touch-gestures

A couple of the possible gestures would be:
- switch workspaces (see bug 638463)
- drag windows around
- show the message tray
- get to the overview
- switch between applications
Comment 1 Elad Alfassa 2014-08-29 16:21:01 UTC
So, we now have gestures to switch workspaces, getting to the overview, and switching applications. However, we do not have a gesture to get to the message try (afaik) or to drag windows around (usually it's easy to just hold and drag the titlebar or the headerbar).

See https://wiki.gnome.org/Design/OS/Gestures for more information.

I guess this bug should be re-titled to "Add a gesture to drag windows" or something similar?

Waiting on freeze break (see bug 735625)

Which seems good enough to me.

All done then! :)
