GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 691381
list rupee sign separately
Last modified: 2013-02-27 18:26:10 UTC
Currently, in gnome-tweak-tool rupee sign can be enabled by selecting into euro sign dropdown selection "Rupee on 4" People are getting confused where to look for enabling rupee sign. Please list it separately maybe below eurosign in Typing section of gnome-tweak-tool gnome-tweak-tool-3.6.1-2.fc18.noarch
Created attachment 233039 [details] [review] Correct the eurosign group to currencysign group
Looks like this problem is actually from xkeyboard-config where group name is not changed from eurosign to currencysign. Submitted patch to xkeyboard-config also at https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=59156
Created attachment 233537 [details] [review] Show all XKB options except the ones in control center Upstream xkeyboard-config changed the 'eurosign' XKB option name to 'currencysign'. Black listing the names that we don't want to show and otherwise showing everything makes us able to work with both old and new xkeyboard-config versions. -- I prefer this approach to makes us work with both names.
