GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 691164
Amazon .amz file not imported - No Error Message
Last modified: 2013-02-17 17:24:20 UTC
Created attachment 232800 [details] banshee debug output (console) Dear banshee developers, I've been using banshee's (very handy) Amazon purchase importer for quite a while now. Never had any issues. When buying songs a few days ago, I recognized that Amazon "improved the MP3 buying experience". Besides One-Click-Payment beeing mandatory for MP3s now, it seems they don't provide the Amazon MP3 Downloader anymore. Instead the files are now provided via Amazon Cloud. .amz files can still be download but banshee fails to download the titles. This is what happens: 1) Import .amz file with banshee -> OK 2) Import progress bar opens "Contacting" -> OK 3) After 6-8 seconds, the progress bar simply disappears. No files were downloaded or imported. No error message shown. I'm happy to assist in any way. Don't hesitate to contact me for details or specific support.
