After entering my account information in the first-time startup dialog, Evolution hangs when pressing "Send / Recieve".

Evolution also hangs when pressing "Check for Supported Types" on the "Receiving Email"-step in the Account Assistant.

I have been unable to reproduce this on my newly installed Ubuntu laptop. The desktop on which I'm unable to use Evolution is also a fairly new install.
