Automake-1.13 errors on obsolete AM_PROG_CC_STDC
Last modified: 2013-01-04 00:23:26 UTC
Created attachment 232522 [details] [review] Patch to remove AM_PROG_CC_STDC AM_PROG_CC_STDC is obsoleted in automake-1.13, and it aborts upon seeing it. It's replaced with AC_PROG_CC. Latter already exist in configure.ac, so fixing this is simply matter of removing former. Patch attached.
Any pointers to that obsoletion ? I haven't been able to find any clear information
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/automake/2012-12/msg00038.html * Obsolete features: - The following long-obsolete m4 macros have been removed: AM_PROG_CC_STDC: superseded by AC_PROG_CC since October 2002
Review of attachment 232522 [details] [review]: Looks fine, then.
Thanks for the patch Marko; please see https://live.gnome.org/GnomeLove/SubmittingPatches for how to create "git format-patch" style patches that can be directly applied. I've done that for you here and committed it though.
