GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 690890
Failure changing state of the gst.Pipeline when trying to render with an invalid filename
Last modified: 2015-10-20 13:21:22 UTC
If you have invalid characters in the filename you're rendering to (currently, the only one I know will cause failures is the "/", but there might be others), you will get a pipeline change failure. This is silly, but we ought to have a blacklist of invalid characters and prevent users from trying to render with them. This is not the same as bug 652923 which seems to happen in some cases even with valid filenames.
