Description Martin Holec 2012-12-17 15:41:48 UTC
"Network" field is sometimes empty in "Mobile broadband".

1. Setup Mobile Broadband connection and connect to it.
2. Open "Network Settings" - "Mobile Broadband".
-> There should be operator name in "Network", no "Add new connection" or empty field. (sometimes this fails)
3. Disconnect from Mobile Broadband.
2. Open "Network Settings" - "Mobile Broadband".
-> "Network" shows "Add new connection" or empty field. (fails always)

Another observation:
When Mobile Broadband is disabled and you are in "Network Settings" - "Mobile Broadband". Toggle ON/OFF button. -> You'll get correct profile in "Network" and also "IMEI"!
Comment 2 André Klapper 2021-06-09 16:08:02 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new bug report at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-control-center/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
