Description Bastien Nocera 2012-12-15 13:22:10 UTC
Browsing and searching through flickr photos, UPnP shares and iPhoto shares locally.

There is now support for Flickr (bug 697675) and DLNA media servers (bug 728913). (The latter is usually disabled because we never finalized the UX for DLNA.) I couldn't spot a Grilo plugin for iCloud, though. That's what you meant by "iPhoto shares" right?

I am slightly leaning towards consolidating our existing cloud support by making sure that they work as well as local content, and adding support for sharing, instead of adding more and more new providers. But that's just a mild preference.

Anyway, I am going to close this now. Feel free to file bugs for supporting any individual providers that you want. It's slightly better than a blanket bug asking for a specific technology. :)

It's not. I meant DPAP. Filed in bug 788512.
