Description hallfaer 2012-12-10 11:52:04 UTC
NOTE: This is for Rhythmbox 2.90 which I cannot find in the version list.

Rhythmbox is configured to play without cross-fading.
A chained bit-stream Ogg Vorbis file is played.
At a certain point in the track (presumably when a new bit-stream starts) Rhythmbox moves on to the next track instead.

Workaround: Enable cross-fading. (can be set to 0.0)

I was told on the irc.gnome.org #rhythmbox that this is because when cross-fading is enabled, Rhythmbox uses a different audio pipeline, that apparently does not have this bug.

Interestingly it the workaround doesn't work on my new system running Rhythmbox 3.2.1 on Debian Stretch. I wonder how it can be fixed this time.
