Description Francewhoa 2012-12-09 00:59:02 UTC
Issue: Export to Facebook no longer working

Steps to reproduce
1. Using gThumb, navigate to File > Export to > Facebook...
2. A popup window asks "gthumb requires your authorization to upload the photos to Facebook". Click on "Authorize..." button. To clarify find attached screenshot "1-gthumb requires.png"
3. Facebook will open in user default internet browser. Ask user to log-in their facebook account. Then redirect user to at https://www.facebook.com. At that point nothing happens. Facebook page is display. But user isn't ask anything.
4. Go back to gThumb, a pop up windows reads "Return to this window when you have finished the authorization process on Facebook Once you're done, click the 'Continue' button below." Click on "Continue" button. To clarify find attached screenshot "2-Return to this window.png"
5. gThumb returns the following error message "Could not connect to the server Invalid parameter". Find attached screenshot "3-Could not connect to the server.png". That feature was working fine for months. The stopped working around October 20th, 2012.

Note: The following page on facebook should display something about gThumb http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=110609985627460 But currently displays nothing. It seems to redirect to https://www.facebook.com/home.php This is maybe related to this issue.

Using
* Ubuntu 10.04 LTS - the Lucid Lynx
* gThumb 2.13.1

After above step 5, user is presented with two options: "Choose Account..." or "Cancel". If user clicks "Choose Account..." button. He his presented with three options: "New", "Cancel", "OK".
 * If user clicks "New", follows steps to create a new account, then he ends up in a loop, I mean user is presented with above steps 2, 3, 4. With same result.
 * If user clicks on "OK", he also ends up in a loop, I mean user is presented with steps 2, 3, 4. With same result.

I'm experiencing the same, both with gthumb 2.12.3 on Mandriva and gthumb 3.0.2 on ubuntu (both 64 bit).

The same problem is occurring here. Francewhoa describes very well the problem.
I am using gthumb 3.1.2, linuxmint 13 (Maya), intel i3, 64 bits, kernel 3.2.0-34-generic(x86_64).
