Please excuse the explanation, I'm not sure of the correct terms.

When using the text tool, I've noticed that changes to the font selection in the "font selection dialogue" and "tool options" are not respected after a font has been chosen in the "Change font selected text" control of the floating tool window; only changes made in the "Change font selected text" control of the floating tool window have any effect.

The font selection in the "font selection dialogue" and "tool options" still agree with each other if you change one of them, but the "Change font selected text" control of the floating tool window remains unchanged.
